In 2019, Fabriano will welcome the delegates of 180 cities in the world, coming from 72 countries, for the UNESCO World Cities Creative Meeting (UCCN).

Rome City Of Film, Unesco creative city for the film, in order to accompany the preparation of the Annual Meeting 2019 in Fabriano, has decided to launch an international call for the presentation of short films (maximum 15 minutes) related to genres fiction and documentary, aimed at professionals and film schools. The deadline for entries is Friday, March 15, 2019.

The theme of the works will be “The ideal city”, narrated with the cinematographic or television medium through eight themes chosen: the sustainable city, the cosmopolitan city, the ubiquitous and multiple city, the city of citizens, the city of knowledge, the city as a stage, the city that creates, the entrepreneurial city.

A selection committee that will be headed by the Cinema Rome Foundation made up of cinema experts, as well as representatives of the Italian UCCN Coordination, will choose the two works to be presented to the public.
