Cultural events
Fabriano will seize the chance of the UNESCO Conference to offer an important set of events, before, during and after the XIII UNESCO Conference. We wish to involve the national and international public for a long period, through a significant number of cultural events and initiatives.
Events and initiatives will go through the Conference week, with events both in parallel and after delegates’ meetings, involving Pavillions of Creativity, city squares and the Gentile theatre.
Among guests, Massimo Cacciari, Antonio Forcellino, Giuseppe De Rita, Beppe Severgnini and artists such as Cameristi della Scala, Oscar prize winner Nicola Piovani, Paolo Fresu, Daniele Di Bonaventura, A Filetta, Neri Marcorè, Enrico Nigiotti, Fabrizio Bosso, Daniele di Bonaventura, Giovanni Ceccarelli, Marcello Allulli, Diego Borotti, Monica Fabbrini and the Coro dei Vox Cordis.
During the Conference, Fabriano will als host the exceptional event of the first UNESCO Creative Cities of Music Festival, involving 6 groups with artists coming from Capo Verde, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Belgium and Italy.

All the events are at free entrance, no booking required.

– June 12, 17.00: Sono Gassman, with an introduction of director Fabrizio Corallo;
– June 13, 17.00: Corpo Celeste by Alice Rohrwacher, introduced by Mario Sesti;
– June 14, 17.00: Award of the “Ideal City” film contest;
– June 15, 18.00: “Bangla” by Phaim Bhuiyan.

To attend concerts in Piazza del Comune, the public must access the square through Largo Bartolo da Sassoferrato and Corso della Repubblica

The UNESCO Conference will be a great opportunity to develop relationships, contacts, synergies, and cooperative projects on an institutional, cultural, and entrepreneurial level.
For this reason, appropriate spaces will be designated, inside the Pavilions of Creativity, to create favourable conditions for exchanging opinions, presenting ideas and projects in an ideal context to share information and knowledge in different fields.
Institutions, cultural operators, and businesspersons will have the opportunity to obtain information in advance about representatives of the various cities that will attend the event held in Fabriano to allow them to successfully make preliminary contact.
